Shani Morris was born in the small Caribbean island of St. Lucia on November 26th. From the tender age of four, Shani showed a keen interest in music and the arts singing for the first time at church. As she matured, so did her love of music and performing. She enthusiastically participated in any opportunity to perform both in and outside of school giving nothing but her best.

Throughout her formative years, Shani was both exposed and influenced by the sounds of Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Buju Banton, Vybz Kartel, Sizzla, Bob Marley which fueled her passion for music. She has infused bits of all these influences into her upcoming album. She was introduced to the professional world of music in 2009 when she recorded her first single "Hold Me" a counteraction to Gyptian's "Hold you" which garnered her attention throughout the Caribbean as well as worldwide.
